How can DataDot’s be located after it has been applied?
The UV trace blended with the adhesive gives law enforcement agencies guidance to the presence of DataDot’s when a UV light is used to identify property.

How many DataDot’s are included in each pack?
There are thousands of DataDot’s included within each DataDotDNA pack. The DataDot’s are suspended in a unique water-based adhesive containing a UV trace. Ample DataDot’s are included within each pack to mark the number of assets detailed in Product Info

If I need more warning decals who should I contact?

Once I purchase the kit, how do I register the unique PIN?

What happens if I sell an identified asset?
If a motor vehicle is on-sold the details on the VIN (vehicle identification number) automatically transfer through the relevant state’s vehicle registration authority. If for example you sell a TV that is marked with DataDotDNA linked to your drivers licence number, these details can not be transferred and it is advised that you keep a record of the buyer so if in the future their item is recovered after being stolen you can provide these details to the police.

How many items can I identify with the DataDotDNA for Home pack?
Approximately 30 items can be adequately identified

Where should I place the Warning Decals?
he larger window decals should be placed in a prominent position at the front and rear of your home to deter potential thieves. Each asset identified (where applicable) should have the smaller oval decals attached which are contained in the kit.

DataDotDNA for Business

How many items can I identify with the DataDotDNA for Business pack?
Approximately 150 assets can be identified using the DataDotDNA for Business pack. Up to 220 assets per pack could be identified if using only on assets such as hand tools.

If an ABN is encrypted on the DataDotDNA do I still need to register business details online?
It is not necessary to register your details online if your DataDotDNA has been custom made to include an ABN or ACN.
